Ted Ferry has been married since 1990 and has four children. Ted was born in Salem, OR and raised in Turner, OR, graduated from Cascade High School and Portland State University where he received a football scholarship. While he has received many community awards, he appreciates the "Spirit of Salem" Chamber Award and the "Make A Difference" Salem-Keizer Schools Award for community involvement as a great compliment to his family. He is involved in local Church, Schools and Youth Clubs, a Youth Coach (football and basketball), a Youth Mentor, and High School Leadership Programs with Salem Public Schools. He is also a serves on the Board of Directors of Salem Chamber of Commerce.
